The Life License Qualification Program (LLQP) standardizes the entry level qualifications of new entrants to the industry across all jurisdictions in Canada. To become eligible to apply for your life insurance license, you must be certified by an approved course provider, and pass all applicable licensing exams in your province. IFSE’s LLQP provides a solid learning foundation for insurance professionals entering the field.

YOUR LLQP JOURNEY STARTS HERE
Depending on the license you pursue, you will be required to complete a combination of these 4 modules:
- Life Insurance
- Accident and Sickness Insurance (A&S)
- Segregated Funds and Annuities
- Ethics and Professional Practice
The duration of each exam is 75 minutes.
No physical notice of completions (certificates) will be issued. Students will be required to register with the Canadian Insurance Participant Registry (CIPR) https://www.cipr.ca and provide the approved LLQP course provider with permission to access their account. When students complete their certification exams, the course provider will upload this information to their profile and then they will be eligible to write the Provincial LLQP Licensing exams.
